![]() ![]() Add to that the slowness on android and desktop. ![]() But soon I started struggling with the system and the whole point of a productivity system is that the system management should not become a task in itself and I feel the open canvas of notion does that. It had my Personal/Work Task management system and my notes taking system, Subscription tracker, Links(Bookmark) Library etc etc. So when I initially got to know about Notion I was overwhelmed by the amount of things that could be done in it, and within a month or so I had a whole productivity system in it. Super basic functionality is totally broken. You have to click twice to actually create a new line, probably because it tries to avoid creating a separate block and then tries to unify the blocks or whatever. Notion has some bizarre logic where clicking takes your cursor to next line, but then if you start typing, it removes that line! This happens if you didn't add a space before clicking After that I'll just select-all and make them checkboxes or whatever styling, on desktop. I wanted to quickly write down a list, so I would type to go to next line. I see why with only 3 people on the dev team, but I don't understand why they have trouble hiring people tbh.Įditing in notion on mobile (at least, android) SUCKS. It's why it's slow and awkward to use because they don't bother doing any work for any specific use-case. ![]() Notion on android is just whatever they have on the desktop/web but with a few cosmetic differences. ![]()
